Had an amazing shoot out in the woods with an excellent model Tessa. She showed up with a phenomenal costume and makeup, and didn’t shy away from getting into the trees and weeds for the shots! I look forward to working with her again!
Had a blast doing a full-on modeling shoot with Lexie! Did some headshots, some face-and body- shots, and my first ever swimwear shoot, featuring her tattoo. I look forward to working with Lexie in the future!
I had a very interesting night at RAW Verve. This was supposed to be a two-photographer event, but the other photog got food poisoning, so I did the whole thing myself!
I rigged up some lighting at the last minute to do artist headshots, and, well… the results were actually pretty great!
Still my favorite festival. It’s well worth the trip back to Austin to see this every year. Here’s just a small sample of the craziness.
This is my first attempt at fashion photography. I was excited to get my model out to Mass Ave. on what turned out to be a cold, gray morning. She was a real trooper with the weather and we had a lot of fun and got some great shots!
Another fun day in my new studio space at The Hatch in Broad Ripple. Getting some acting headshots for Britney. She’s a natural at getting her photo taken and I’m sure will make a great actress!
I had a great opportunity to get some headshots for Albina, who is just beginning her modeling career. It also gave me a chance to test out my new studio space at The Hatch in Broad Ripple. It’s a great space with great people!
As for Albina, she was clearly very nervous to start – this was her first professional photoshoot! By the end of the shoot, though, she was clearly comfortable and posing like a pro. I see good things ahead!
After a lot of creative back and forth with Xue, we decided to take advantage of an unseasonably beautiful February day to do a “street photography” style shoot in Broad Ripple. There is some beautiful art and architecture here, but of course the model is even better!
Got a set of acting headshots for Drew. He wanted basic, straight-on headshots in color and black and white, so that’s what he got!
I was the photobooth for Tots & Paws “Little Red Dress” fundraiser, supporting the Hamilton County Humane Society and Toys for Tots. It was a ton of fun and a good cause, and I hope to work with them again next year!
