Had an AMAZING shoot a couple weeks ago with Megn_v. Our theme was “neon and tattoos,” so after finding the right spot in Indianapolis, we (mostly she) braved the cold and showed some ink in some really cool lighting!
Got to work with another up-and-coming model in my studio at The Hatch! Tori was amazing: tiny, adorable, and came extremely well-prepared with props, books, wardrobe… and a whole team of sisters for hair help!
Sorry this one was a long time coming! Working on my fitness photography with the beautiful Vally. She’s a former high school wrestler and Brazilian Ju-jitsu…er? Anyway, she clearly still has it! I’m really looking forward to more fitness photography in the future.
Had a great shoot with Courtney at the Hatch studio! We were moved out of the actual photo studio section of the building by a band practice, so we had to improvise, and it actually turned out great. Serendipity, I guess. Anyway, I was experimenting with some new lighting setups, and I love the results. Turned out very “noir.”
Katy and Josh were in town for Gen Con and decided to use the opportunity to celebrate their engagement. We had a lot of fun shooting around the convention center, and got some great pictures!
Did a quick headshot set for the artistic Surina family. Mom and Dad are actors and their daughter is headed off to school for dance. I really feel like I have this studio headshot lighting and technique down!
Had an amazing shoot out in the woods with an excellent model Tessa. She showed up with a phenomenal costume and makeup, and didn’t shy away from getting into the trees and weeds for the shots! I look forward to working with her again!
Had a blast doing a full-on modeling shoot with Lexie! Did some headshots, some face-and body- shots, and my first ever swimwear shoot, featuring her tattoo. I look forward to working with Lexie in the future!
After a lot of creative back and forth with Xue, we decided to take advantage of an unseasonably beautiful February day to do a “street photography” style shoot in Broad Ripple. There is some beautiful art and architecture here, but of course the model is even better!
Got a set of acting headshots for Drew. He wanted basic, straight-on headshots in color and black and white, so that’s what he got!
